British stocks decreased on Thursday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 1.44 percent, or 108.12 points, to close at 7,389.94 points.
Coca-Cola HBC, One of the largest Bottlers for the Coca-Cola Company, soared 9.23 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Worldpay Group and Randgold Resources increased by 4.89 percent and 1.29 percent, respectively.
InterContinental Hotels Group, an international hotel company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 3.07 percent.
Taylor Wimpey, one of the largest British-based housebuilding companies, dropped 2.98 percent. Persimmon, another British housebuilding company, fell 2.92 percent.
