British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down 108.45 points or 1.46 percent at 7,334.98 points.
Randgold Resources, a major multinational metal company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 7.38 percent. Vodafone Group, a British multinational telecommunications company, dropped 4.01 percent. G4S, a British multinational security services company, dropped 3.42 percent.
Kingfisher, the Europe's leading home improvement retailer, soared 2.26 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Antofagasta and Glencore rose by 1.66 percent and 1.07 percent respectively.
