British Stocks up 0.07 pct Tuesday-Oct 31
 

British stocks rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.07 percent, or 5.27 points, to close at 7,493.08 points.

Croda International, a British speciality chemicals company, soared 4.24 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. EasyJet and Segro increased by 3.16 percent and 3.04 percent, respectively.

Fresnillo, a major multinational metal company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.62 percent. The multinational tobacco company Imperial Brands dropped 2.23 percent. Johnson Glencore, a multinational commodity trading and mining company, fell 1.89 percent.
