China's Hushen 300 index futures closed higher on Thursday, with the contract for July 2017 up 0.84 percent to finish at 3,747.20 points.

The August 2017 contract gained 0.84 percent to close at 3,733.00 points. The September 2017 contract was up 0.93 percent to finish at 3,721.80 points. The December 2017 contract went up 0.99 percent to finish at 3,695.00 points.

The stock-index contracts, agreements to buy or sell the Hushen 300 Index at a preset value on an agreed date, are designed to allow investors to bet on and profit from either gains or declines in the market.
