Chinese stocks opened mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.02 percent, at 3,393.97 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.03 percent higher at 11,370.52 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.1 percent to open at 1,867.99 points.
