German Shares Edge up Friday-Nov 3
 

German stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 37.93 points, or 0.28 percent, to close at 13,478.86 points.

German personal-care company Beiersdorf won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 1.57 percent.

Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and multinational chemical firm Linde rose by 1.52 percent and 1.18 percent respectively.

Commerzbank lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.53 percent. Deutsche Bank and airlines Lufthansa went down by 0.83 percent and 0.77 percent respectively.

Deutsche Bank was the most-traded share with a turnover of 268.29 million euros (312.74 million U.S. dollars).
