Indian markets closed flat on Monday as equity benchmarks turned positive from the morning session amid consolidation, backed by auto, banking & financials stocks.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 33,731.19, 45.63 points or 0.14 percent up compared to its previous close at 33,685.56.
