Seoul shares ended slightly higher on Thursday.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) inched up 0.57 points, or 0.02 percent, to settle at 2,373.14.
Trading volume stood at 190.74 million shares worth 4.54 trillion won (3.95 billion U.S. dollars).
South Korea's currency finished at 1,149.10 won against the greenback, down 8.40 won from the previous close.
