Singapore stocks finished higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) rose 10.06 points, or 0.31 percent, to close at 3,219.53.
A total of 1.57 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 935.6 million Singapore dollars (about 675.32 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 240 to 197.
The STI index declined 6.08 points, or 0.19 percent, to close at 3,209.47 last Friday.
