Singapore stocks finished lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) falling 0.35 percent or 11.39 points to close at 3209.56.

A total of 2.04 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.69 billion Singapore dollars (about 1.26 billion U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 212 to 174.

The STI index went down 0.29 percent or 9.41 points to close at 3220.95 on Thursday.
