Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) declining 13.76 points, or 0.42 percent, to close at 3,294.93.
A total of 1.74 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.13 billion Singapore dollars (about 828.18 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 294 to 204.
The STI index went up 28.97 points, or 0.88 percent, to close at 3,308.69 Monday.
