Singapore stocks finished higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) rising 15.92 points, or 0.49 percent, to close at 3265.26.
A total of 1.94 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.02 billion Singapore dollars (about 755.22 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 242 to 186.
The STI index went down 18.28 points, or 0.56 percent, to close at 3249.34 on Tuesday.
