Singapore stocks finished higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) rising 16.8 points, or 0.52 percent, to close at 3263.79.
A total of 1.86 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 948.5 million Singapore dollars (about 696.48 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 253 to 165.
The STI index went down 5 points, or 0.15 percent, to close at 3246.99 Monday.
