Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) dropping 18.28 points, or 0.56 percent, to close at 3249.34.
A total of 2 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 966.7 million Singapore dollars (about 715.16 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 268 to 160.
The STI index went up 8.05 points, or 0.25 percent, to close at 3267.62 on Monday.
