Singapore stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) declined 27.55 points, or 0.85 percent, to close at 3,218.8.
A total of 2.09 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.18 billion Singapore dollars (about 855.01 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 223 to 198.
The STI index rose 17.34 points, or 0.54 percent, to close at 3,246.35 on Monday.
