Singapore stocks finished higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) rising 28.97 points, or 0.88 percent, to close at 3308.69.
A total of 2.17 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.24 billion Singapore dollars (about 907.85 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 234 to 230.
The STI index went down 43.52 points, or 1.31 percent, to close at 3279.72 last Friday.
