Singapore stocks finished higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) rose 37.54 points, or 1.17 percent, to close at 3248.71.
A total of 2.62 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.15 billion Singapore dollars (about 831.0 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 301 to 150.
The STI index declined 12.29 points, or 0.38 percent, to close at 3211.17 Tuesday.
