Singaporean stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) dropped 3.02 points, or 0.09 percent, to close at 3,223.46.

A total of 1.25 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 845.3 million Singapore dollars (about 6.12 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 212 to 197.

The STI index declined 32.17 points, or 0.99 percent, to close at 3,226.48 last Friday.
