Singaporean stocks finished higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) rising 8.05 points, or 0.25 percent, to close at 3,267.62.
A total of 1.29 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 798.6 million Singapore dollars (about 589.37 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 201 to 199.
The STI index went down 12.59 points, or 0.38 percent, to close at 3,259.57 last Friday.
