Singaporean stocks finished higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) rising 51.76 points, or 1.6 percent, to close at 3287.43.
A total of 2.68 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.84 billion Singapore dollars (about 1.34 billion U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 290 to 164.
The STI index went up 26.76 points, or 0.83 percent, to close at 3235.67 on Thursday.
