Spanish shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark Ibex-35 down 0.29 percent or 29.2 points, to close at 10,185.50 points.
A total of 24 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.
Spain's fourth largest bank Banc Sabadell was down 1.89 percent, followed by energy and infrastructure company Acciona and engineering and infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas that lost 1.87 percent and 1.56 percent respectively.
Technology solutions provider Amadeus gained 1.85 percent, the top gainer of the day. Hotel chain Melia Hotels was up 1.53 percent, and Spain's fifth largest bank Bankia rose 1.42 percent.
