Spanish shares gained on Thursday, with the benchmark Ibex-35 up 0.19 percent, or 19.3 points, to close at 10,357.40 points.

A total of 20 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.

Consultancy and technology company Indra A advanced 1.90 percent, the top gainer, followed by stainless steel manufacturer group Acerinox and airline group IAG that rose 1.13 percent and 1.04 percent respectively.

Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa went down 2.77 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Supermarket chain DIA lost 1.11 percent and technology solutions provider Amadeus lost 0.91 percent.
