Spanish shares rose on Monday, with the benchmark Ibex-35 up 0.20 percent, or 20.7 points, to close at 10,509.50 points.
A total of 26 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.
Steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal advanced 2.62 percent, the top gainer, followed by supermarket chain DIA and telecommunication company Cellnex that rose 1.72 percent and 1.22 percent respectively.
Global operator of services and infrastructure Ferrovial went down 0.93 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Engineering and infrastructure company Tecnicas Reunidas lost 0.56 percent and hotel chain Melia Hotels lost 0.54 percent.
