Spanish shares gained on Tuesday, with the benchmark Ibex-35 up 0.74 percent or 77.5 points, to close at 10,523.50 points.

Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa advanced 6.05 percent, followed by chemical and pharmaceutical company Grifols and casing company Viscofan that rose 4.07 percent and 2.75 percent respectively.

Consultancy and technology company Indra A went down 4.45 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal lost 1.91 percent and Spain's seventh largest bank Bankinter went down 0.63 percent.
